GPScale is a research firm based in Tokyo, Japan. We focus on user experience research to give companies a clear understanding of what people see, do, think and feel when they use websites, mobile applications, and other digital products and services.
- Atsushi Fujihara - Partner/ Operations
Before joining GPScale, Atsushi worked PriceWaterhouseCoopers Consultant and IBM Business Consulting Services, where he lead localization and customization projects for enterprise software and web portals on behalf of major Japanese and international blue chip clients. Atsushi is one of the founding members of GPScale and currently oversees the groups' operations. A dedicated technologist and futurist, Atsushi holds a bachelor's degree in engineering from the University of Tokyo.
- Steven Sipes - Partner/ Strategy
Steven heads strategy and new service development at GPScale. Steven started his career in market research, initially gaining experience at Infoplan /McCann Erickson Japan before moving on to head the qualitative research department at Millward Brown Japan and launching online advertising evaluation services for Millward Brown Asia Pacific. Steven holds a master's degree in International Management from University of California, San Diego.
- Nobue Shirai - Partner/ Client Services
Prior to joining GPScale, Nobue gained experience at PriceWaterhouseCoopers Consultant and IBM Business Consulting Services leading projects in the areas of strategy, business development and change management. Nobue is a founding member of GPScale and heads the group's client services team. Nobue has an MBA from the Monterey Institute of International Studies (Fisher School of Business) in the US, majoring in International Marketing.
